The High-Concentration Photovoltaic (HCPV) Solar Power Plant in Luzhu District is the largest one in Asia, and the second largest in the world (after Spain). There are a total of 141 solar panels at work at the same time on a vast, open meadow. Even grander than its spectacular construction is its gross power capacity, which goes over one megawatt. This achievement sets a milestone for the green energy development in Taiwan. One feature of the solar plant is that it uses convex lens as a device to gather the solar power, and the overall conversion rate goes up to 26%, which is comparatively efficient. - LICENSED test567 km MG 4565
